She said she was scared

He said that he cared

She said to take it slow

He said he always knows

Just what she is thinking

He told her while winking

She smiled feeling safe

She laid there feeling brave

The stories she heard

The myths so absurd

She would never forget

During her moments of sex

But now it was time

In her small bed confined

To find out what its like

To make the final climb

She said she was nervous

He told her his purpose

She felt reassured

His vision was blurred

For he slipped inside

Her warm, moist life

The lights had gone out

She began to shout

And claw his back from pain

Driving him ins

This universe sometimes leaves me broken-hearted

Often sending prayers to those departed

How many times against my will?

Too many voids that can't be filled

Too much damage that can't be fixed

Like breaking wood as thin as sticks

And though I always promise to be good

My message still is never understood

In this crazy world that we inhabit

Where we run away like scared rabbits

My fire has finally grew up and blew

Through the roof and into view

Of children passing who often draw

Shapes of clouds and stare in awe

For I can forgive but I won't forget

And you can bet my respect is wrecked

And shattered like the gla
Everlasting"Everlasting"

I've tried to count the ways

Of why I love her on a flower

In the summer haze

Losing petals every hour

There is just so much to say

A dandelion does not suffice

To wish away these days

Until we are under lights

And in my summer garden

And the beauty that it grows

If I beg your pardon

I must cultivate a rose

A symbol of my love

That my heart just cant contain

Just like the turtle doves

Or rainbows after rain

All these pretty sights

Remind myself of her

Just like the evening sky

Or a cat that calmly purrs

As gentle as the breeze

That blows past my face

If I could I'd freeze

All of time and space

So we can

So it seems now yet again

God has placed you in my sight

Its time to discuss this my dear friend

I wonder if we'll make it out alive

We need to help each other

If we are going to survive

But I would rather cover

My ashamed face and hide

But here in this time and space

For this moment I won't run

Here we are now face to face

I will not be outdone

I can feel you glaring

Staring at my weakened heart

The one that's always tearing

And ripping it apart

But this has got to stop

No more of this resentment

I will come out on top

I will gain my contentment

You were always such a pain

Our thoughts often collided

After my blood has washed down the sink

I often sit in my backyard and think

When my thoughts are on the brink

Of self-destruction; out of sync

I sit and smoke and feel the breeze

I see the critters below my feet

I let them live for they are free

Free as me to live in peace

But when I leap before I step

I sit and think about regrets

Taking wagers; placing bets

Letting thoughts sink in and set

And then I feel I let them go

In the air and in the glow

Of lights above and stars at night

To the moon and of great heights

Out of sight and out of mind

Until my eyesight has gone blind

With newer things that I can find
Injured Wolf"Injured Wolf"

Death may be upon my whimpering cries

I lay here caught despite struggling to try

My hind legs swelled up and my tail feels numb

A lone wolf captured in webs now spun

Or more like a bear trap to be more precise

Sliced in between my hind legs spliced

Together into the teeth of the jaws of death

A lone wolf rejected to be anybody's pet

As tears pour out I see from a distance

A figure locked onto my bitter persistence

But I can't escape like a meal on a plate

To be eaten by a family with a number of eight

Or maybe he'll leave me as my body takes its toll

And save me for a stronger creature to swallow me whole
