"Aliens Are Real"
They live to conquer our fears
They persevere despite our tries
They feed off our bloody tears
They are watching us with many eyes
From the satellites way up high
From the lunar galatic moons
Hidden behind those fluffy clouds
I guarantee they're coming soon
They're real; they exist; they're out there
I know because I've seen them
With their multi-colored hairs
They are walking among creations
They take on many forms
They may be your best friend
Some sleep in college dorms
Watch yourself around the bend
One day I was walking
When I saw a cute, little boy
Who I noticed kept on talking
But this boy was just a ploy
He changed into a creature
From a B-rated horror picture
Those kinds that would feature
Terrible costumes and figures
This one alien turned into two
Which then multiplied into ten
Some changed from green to blue
And that's when these little colored men
Stripped me of my clothes
Stripped me of my pride
They left me nowhere to go
They left me nowhere to hide
I was brought back to their ship
Where they made me drink some wine
Then they bent me over
I was probed at least a dozen times
At first I bit my tounge
But then I shrieked and screamed
Enemas are certainly no fun
I only wish it was a dream
Yet no one will believe me
Everyone thinks I'm crazy
Is it really that crazy to believe?
I feel static when I'm lazy
And it hurts like hell to sit down
Going to the bathroom is complex
Next time you go to lay around
Maybe they'll probe you next!
The lines flowed together quiet nicely, as well as the thoughts. People have a hard time reading poetry that doesn't rhyme, and in your case you did such a swell job with rhyming that people were reading it aloud! And the mood was superb! I could visualize each detail you painted with fine precise strokes, hear a haunting music in the background, and feel the emotions of the unfortunate fellow that starred in your poem.
I would say this is a great poem to have right before Halloween. It will make you think twice before going out trick-or-treating alone
Great job, it caught my attention, and will stick with me for as long as my memory serves me well.
May the odds be ever in your favor
and have a nice halloween
