Galaxies And Seas"Galaxies And Seas"Galaxies And Seas by =BleedTheDream180
We exist to wonder
About the galaxies and seas
Solutions always vague
About how they came to be
We ponder the Egyptians
The sphinxes and their marks
How the earth can rotate
Why there's night and dark
We ponder over mountains
And the cracks that fall between
Serenity and misery
Nothing's ever like it seems
We lay our heads in beds
And over-thinking brings
Love and hate and remorse
And why we feel such things
We live in speculation
In fear of the unknown
We blindly make decisions
And then reap what we have sewn
Fires burn like cancer
We contain the treasures
Space exceeds forever
Still we find no answer
We are always

Slow Dance“Slow Dance”Slow Dance by =BleedTheDream180
With crowded people in a compact room
She feels more than ever alone
In her isolated corner building cocoons
She wished the party had been postponed
At least then she could have found a date
Or something more stylish to wear
Or perhaps even lose some weight
And find time to tease her hair
She observes the people dancing
And can feel the love in the air
But sadly no one is advancing
To this girl in tragic despair
She sees the alcohol to her left
Perhaps she should take a drink
This way her night she could forget
And no longer bother to think
About how miserable she has become
Or how her eyes have lost their glow
Eve

Ordinary Day“Ordinary Day”Ordinary Day by =BleedTheDream180
Somewhere in this town are the sounds of gunfire
Certain people live while others expire
Across from this scene a truck has just delivered
Many groceries to a store located by the river
Dozens of families flock to buy food for their kids
Completely unaware they could be the next to go God forbid
Their children are in school sitting quietly in their seats
While the headmasters instruct because they have so much to teach
Elsewhere an organ bellows signaling the beginning of a mass
While a man’s car on the highway has run out of gas
The sun becomes masked by clouds as rain invades grass
Someone robbed a jewel

Puppy Dog"Puppy Dog"Puppy Dog by =BleedTheDream180
When someone reaches out
And says that they care
It's easier to run
Believe me, I've been there
I know what it's like
To extend a steady hand
To those who always claim
That no one ever understands
And honestly it's true
But yet I keep on giving
My hand never shuts
As long as I'm still living
But I know I'm not you
And I know I'll never be
And I know I never will
See the things you see
But it is for the best
To solve things how you know
I don't want to interfere
With your slow and steady growth
But just know I'm here
Waiting calmly everyday
Patiently finding words
To not screw up what I say
And no matter how it hurts
Or whatev

You Are The Writer"You Are The Writer"You Are The Writer by =BleedTheDream180
Speak to me through works of gallant poetry
Tell me of your fears and woes; goals and misery
Let syllables flow through use of rhymes and words
Let your voice be raised a pitch to sounds you never heard
Tell me of your troubled times through the use of fiction
Mask the pain in metaphors, prayers, and benedictions
You are the writer and the soul of the one you've come to know
Why not give your tale a happy ending before it's time to go?
Through the use of monologues, you can tell a ton
Like how you stunned the King or how your race was won
But maybe you prefer to give your tale a twist
The frog doesn't have to be a prin

Catch Me"Catch Me"Catch Me by =BleedTheDream180
As I felt the breeze smack me; I knew this was finally it
I couldn't possibly survive; I knew I couldn't miss
I looked to the left of me; the shadow followed me down
I saw the shadow crying; it knew soon we'd hit the ground
I caught glimpse of reality; despite falling at great heights
By looking through the windows; at least ones that had the lights
I saw a person snorting drugs and a father yelling at his son
They had left their television running; I think the Yankees won
For not letting her go out, a girl screamed at her mom
And a little further down, a guy had made a bomb
The wind felt so nice, but I could not look away

The Fog"The Fog"The Fog by =BleedTheDream180
Every one of us has fog in our lives
Some more than others; some of us choke
And no matter the place where we reside
We're always gasping and breathing in smoke
This fog develops and envelops us whole
Blinding our very sense of direction
We often can't see which way to go
So we hide behind our fog's objections
This air becomes too thick to breathe
From the very moment of our youth
And often hidden below and beneath
Is the very essence of elusive truth
But we can not see all the ideals
Walking around lost in a cloudy haze
So we blindly guess at what is real
Hoping that we have found the way
But opaque roads are rocky and littere

Rain, Rain Go Away"Rain, Rain Go Away"Rain, Rain Go Away by =BleedTheDream180
The sun set as she walked away that day
And it rained and rained for days to come
He became used to gazing at skies of grey
But man oh man he sure did miss that sun
Day by day his light began to fade
As he thought "Dear God, what have I done?"
His own tears would mix with the rain
Because God Almighty he missed that sun
Meanwhile water continued to shower
Throughout this lonesome phase
Even droopy were those flowers
From the bouquet he made last May
He tried to cover his wounds
By changing on random nights
But the answer he already knew
No intensity would ever match that light
Everywhere he went, clouds followed alon

Learning To Fly“Learning To Fly”Learning To Fly by =BleedTheDream180
Deep within a forest's workings
Lay creatures of the night slowly lurking
And nestled within branches of the trees
Lies little birds grouped in threes
Though so young to their mothers' delight
They decided their birds are ready for flight
But not every bird is geared to leave the nest
In fact many of the birds cry in protest
Meanwhile gathered together on the ground below
Are vicious animals lurking to and fro
Ready to devour the ones who fail
To successfully take to the skies and sail
No sooner do the birds begin to fly
Do many of the birds' flights turn awry
Crashing into every obstacle on their route
While t

What I See"What I See"What I See by =BleedTheDream180
In all these city streets
Where people look the same
The only one I see
Is the one that has your face
And all these city sounds
Where echoes ring in pain
The only sound I hear
Is the calling of your name
And all the leaves that change
On all these sturdy trees
Can never mean a thing
Unless you're here with glee
And all the roses bloom
And blossom in the night
For you I'd pick out one
And hold it in the light
And all the doves that fly
In all these lonely times
Are completely unaware
How much I raise you high
And where they go I know
Doesn't matter when
They are in their flight
Together they stay friends
And all the ones that

Wolflooking up at the moon in the night,Wolf by ~WaffleGamer
i feel the surging electricity in my veins,
i come to life with a wild energy,
and take out into the night,
under mother moons watchful gaze,
a hunter on the prowl,
that itching in the back of my mind,
that must be scratched,
that animal instinct and hunger comes,
the thirst and excitement,
i am a beast by design

Little FoxCurious little fox,Little Fox by ~6-9Changeling
I see your bright fur,
Among the green fronds.
Little fox, you are so small.
Where’s your mom?
Don’t be afraid, little fox.
I won’t hurt you.
Are you all alone?
Poor little kitsune,
It’s hard to hide isn’t it?
Your fur is too bright.
Come here, little fox.
I’ll look after you.
Let’s get you some food;
Are you hungry?
Little fox,
It’ll all be okay.

The Fighting MoonWaning tears leave stains of memoryThe Fighting Moon by ~hypermagical
on this impressive sky and breathe
deep a soul into me,
but I will not surrender.
Saving fears mean pains of mercy
when I try to break the dream
and keep a soul in me,
but I will not surrender.
Making here a light chain of silver, she
reaps a soul, me
and with a smile, surrender
and remember,
as the night moves surely on,
that I don't have to last forever,
I've just got to beat the dawn.

Leave your past behind.Leave your past behind. by ~GentlePeace
I know that you remember all of those bitter moments
But what is it worth for to keep those memories working
They’re not making you happy; they’re just making you hopeless
Then follows depression from the feelings that you’ve let lurking
Because you went through it, but you relive it every moment
When it’s all in your mind and you’re making it a necessary component
It’s just jarring to your heart, yet you keep it for your mind is uncertain
Many broken hearts, from family to friends, something you won’t admit was certain
I’ve been like you, for months to years, having a mind that’s unc

On rainy days...I look out the window and see the liquid dropsOn rainy days... by ~GentlePeace
I hear the soothing sounds that calms my thoughts
It helps my feather heart to keep its strength
As long I keep my conscious clear my faith won’t go away
Because these are the days when I wonder the most
About my life choices and all I ever hope
The rain keeps my sanity from being overthrown
By anything troublesome and keep a peaceful tone
